Everyone wants to recycle, but no one really knows how. So this is an app idea that would scan your trash and tell you how to get rid of it - no more wondering what all those numbers mean, or if you can mix paper or plastic.
First, scan your trash. Google’s AI technology will identify the material.
Then, using geolocation, the app will give you recycling instructions according to your area’s regulations. It will also help you find a recycling center or order the correct recycling bin.
For large items, the app will help you find a disposal center or schedule a junk removal.
For items that can’t be recycled, the app will suggest ways to repurpose the item.
